Considering this is my first blog post on The Simply Styled, it will be lacking the content I hope you will be able to experience shortly. This post is not in any way going to contribute to your lifestyle, it is merely an introduction and a way to say hi. So, I will cease my pointless rambling and begin. HI! In case you were wondering why this site address now exists, I have to be honest. I truly have no idea. I have tried countless times to begin a blog, and each time it has failed beautifully. That is, if failing can be classified as beautiful. It began several weeks ago when I followed someone on twitter with a Blogger blog. After reading one post, I was so enthused at the sheer opportunistic value of creating a site, I promised myself I would. But of course, my random epiphany of an idea (these 'ideas' occur extremely often and ninety-nine percent of the time they never amount to anything) had to happen in the middle of exams. I willed myself to go nowhere near this site until the fresh start of a new semester had settled. It is now the night before a major exam, and of course, my marvelous ability to do anything except for what I am supposed to and honestly should be doing has kicked in. I believe the term is called 'extreme procrastination'. So this is why I am creating this blog, this post. What I plan to do with this blog, you might ask, is a question only the universe can answer. I absolutely love fashion, hair, and beauty, and originally planned on the blog being focused around these subjects. As I further contemplate this, I am gradually loosening the term 'focus'. Knowing me, the blog will begin as a fashion, hair and beauty blog, but will broaden to much more. Hopefully that 'much more' still being of use to you and not just a royal pain that you wish you hadn't read. Therefore, I am classifying my blog under the category 'Style, Hair, Beauty, and anything and everything else that comes to mind'. I hope you will enjoy my blog, I intend to actually allow it to thrive this time, unlike my other beautifully failed attempts at blogging. Let's see how that goes.
